Our mission is to help women foster a relationship with Christ through an encounter with His Blessed Mother Mary so we may know that we are Beloved daughters of Christ.
Our Founder’s
Deacon Bill & Melissa Vincent
Deacon Bill and Melissa, natives of Kaplan, Louisiana, have been married since May 1996 and are blessed with two children and one grandchild. Together, they share a passion for serving the Church and evangelizing others.
Melissa is a Lay Carmelite and an active member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, where she serves in several ministries. Deeply devoted to Jesus and Mary, she is passionate about helping women grow in their faith, get closer to Christ and recognize their identity as God's beloved daughters.
Deacon Bill felt called to serve the Church from an early age. After years of discernment, he was ordained a Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Lafayette in 2012 and has served at St. Mary Magdalen Parish ever since. He currently serves as Director of Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of Lafayette and considers it a privilege to accompany God's people in their faith journey.
In 2022, Melissa discerned a call to minister more intentionally to women after an encounter with the Lord. Together, she and Deacon Bill founded Behold Catholic Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to helping women deepen their relationship with Christ through His Mother Mary with retreats, prayer, and spiritual formation.

Mission Support
Behold Catholic Ministries is blessed to be under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Mark Miley, the Chaplain of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Diocese of Lafayette and also under the spiritual direction of Fr. Connor Poirrier. We are deeply grateful for the support of Fr. Alexander Albert, Pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville. We are incredibly thankful for their prayers, guidance, and continued support of Behold Catholic Ministries. It is a true blessing to walk alongside them in serving the Lord and His Church!
